Special Occasions
Hosted at Emoyeni Guest Lodge, Camperdown, KZN.  Our formal dining room seats 36 or we can offer a braii for up to 70 people.

Meet The Team

Wendy Richards

Wendy moved to South Africa from England 7 years ago.  She lives in Ballito with her son Tyreece.  Wendy is an articulate, enthusiastic and highly skilled event co-coordinator.  She has several years of proven business experience within the Corporate Entertainment and Leisure industry.  She is extremely passionate about her business and loves introducing clients to the fun and adventure which is a part of her everyday life.  Wendy is a keen passenger on any aircraft.

Brett Ellis	Brett has many years experience within Business Management and Team Building.  He is an experienced motivational speaker, his courses are customer focused and achieve outstanding results.  Brett is also a keen paragliding pilot.

Arthur Gemperle

Arthur, a retired mechanical engineer spends his life enjoying aviation to the fullest.  He started paragliding 9 years ago and logged over 1000 hours.  Then he decided to look for an aircraft where he could land on wheels & not on his feet anymore. He bought a Magni gyrocopter, which Arthur believes is the ultimate flying machine.  Arthur still enjoys paragliding as a quiet way of flying and has been flying the gyrocopter for 5 years,  a total of almost 2000 hours in the air. Arthurs longest flight covered a total distance of 6500 km, which is equivalent from Johannesburg to Cairo one way. Arthur always enjoys having a passenger to share the MAGNIficent flying machine & flight experience.

Noel McDonogh

In 1994 Noel taught himself to fly hang-gliders on the beach at Scottburgh on the South Coast. He competed in numerous competitions: SA national hang-gliding champs in Graaff Reinet in 1999, where he came 2nd; Western Province hang-gliding champs in 2000, in which he came 8th, Gauteng hang-gliding champs in 2001, where he came 4th.   He continued hang-gliding, and started powered hang-gliding (a modified, foot-launchable hang-gliding harness with a 125cc motor and a propeller attached). Noel completed his radio licence course at ATNS Durban.  In 2004 he undertook his MPL.  During this time Noel continued to fly to accumulate his 200 hours flight time for his instructor rating.  In Feb 2006 Noel obtained his Instructor rating.

Tristam Burrell
	2 April 1961 - 18 June 2006 Tristam started flying in 1991 and owned 1 of the largest Paragliding Schools in South Africa, he instructed full-time in Paragliding, Powered Paragliding and Prara-Trikes.  Tristam was extremely passionate about his sport.  His enthusiasm has encouraged hundreds of people to take to the sky.  For many people it changed their lives and inspired them to become pilots, for others it was an experience that they will never forget.  It was Tristam's passion for flying that inspired me to start Sky Adventures.  I wanted to create opportunity for others to experience the excitement and enjoyment of flying.  Tristam was a spiritual person who made everyone feel good about themselves.  He will be greatly missed; it is remembering his words of encouragement, his support and his love for flying that has inspired me to continue to follow my dream.
